I’m Zachara Perkins — a Division I basketball player, future WNBA star, aspiring veterinarian, and fearless dreamer with a passport full of stamps and a heart for adventure. I’ve lived in over five countries, embracing new cultures and chasing big dreams both on and off the court.

As a freshman at Rutgers University (2024-25), I hit the ground running, starting in 32 games last season. I averaged 5.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, notched double-digit points in four outings, and racked up a career-best 13 points and nine rebounds in the WNIT Second Round. A defensive force, I ranked second on the team with 29 blocks, making my mark as a shot-stopper and versatile presence on both ends of the floor.

Before college, I led Summercreek High School to championships and earned Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-State and All-Region honors while averaging an impressive 18.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks per game.

My drive to succeed runs deep. It’s in my blood as the daughter of 2 former pro basketball players. Both my parents played internationally and my mother played in the WNBA. This allowed me to travel the world, live in 5 different countries, learn new cultures, and become exceptionally well-rounded beginning from birth.

I am passionate about animals, empowering others, and creative self-expression through fashion and beauty. I believe in living boldly, working hard, and uplifting those around me. Whether I’m locking down a defender, studying for veterinary school, or styling my next look, I lead with heart, hustle, and style.
